Expectations for behavior

• Practice good digital citizenship.

  • Be safe online.

  • Report concerns.

• Treat this space with respect.

  • Dispose of all trash.
  • Silence electronics.
  • Return materials in a reasonable manner. 

Checkout information

• There is no limit to the number of items a patron can check out.

• Checkout is for two weeks, but items can be renewed.

• Patrons may incur fines for damaged or lost items.

• If an item is available in any DISD library, we can request a loan.

Coming to the library

• The library will be open before school, during lunch and after school; students can request a pass each quarter from the library to enter at these times.

• Students who want to use the library during class time must bring a signed pass including the time and date from the issuing teacher.

• Entry and exit will be recorded electronically.
