Matadors in the Community

Marsh seventh graders in Career and College Exploration attended the Dallas ISD Career Showcase at Fair Park on November 20. Students rotated through stations showcasing different career clusters.

Matadors participated in High School Night, where they had an opportunity to meet with representatives from different Dallas ISD high schools.  Students were able to learn about programs and ask questions so they can find the high school option that will be the best fit for their futures.  

Marsh students in the Leadership Corps of Cadets program were given the opportunity to learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, the Heimlich Maneuver and the proper use of an External Defibrillator. 

Marsh students looked to the future when they explored the SMU college campus on a recent field trip.  For many, this was the first time they saw a college campus up close.
